Peaches are starting to arrive at our local farmers market and we couldn’t wait to put them to good use. Here we threw together a great refreshing Peach Cobbler Cocktail that utilizes our Julep bitters for an herbal minty finish and pairs the spice of rye with the sweet tangy nature of fresh peaches. The perfect cocktail for a hot summer day.
Ingredients
2 oz Rye Whiskey
.5 oz Simple Syrup
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3 slices Fresh Peach
3 dashes Remedy Cocktail Company Julep Bitters
Garnish:
Peach Fan
Fresh Mint
Instructions
Muddle peach slices in the bottom of a shaker with bitters and simple syrup. Top with the rye and fresh lemon juice, shaking vigorously with ice until chilled. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice and garnish.
